Role of self respect

Self respect is basically a respect shown by any person to himself and his or her way of living a life. We can easily find large numbers of people who had strong self respect and due to this self respect they never comprised with the world on wrong matters. However, in the present world self respect is slowly missing from the human beings and more numbers of people are losing their self respects for gaining power and reputation in this world. This is really a wrong sign for the society because with self respect, it is very hard to look for the big contributions by people for their country and society. This is really very bad situation where people are losing their self respect to gain successful and popularity in world.
